A New Beginning: We Secured Grant for Pilot Production Facility

1th of September 2022

Exciting news! We are thrilled to share the latest development in the journey of Circular Matters. In our previous blog post, we discussed the challenges we were facing due to a disruption in our supply chain for panels. Today, we are delighted to inform you that we have received a significant grant that will pave the way for a brighter future.

Circular Matters has been granted the opportunity to establish its very own pilot production facility, and this milestone is made possible through the support of the City of Antwerp under the product call ‘Innovative development projects SME.’ In this article, we will delve into the details of this grant, its implications for our operations, and what it means for you, our customers.

The Grant and What It Means

  1. Support from the City of Antwerp:

The City of Antwerp’s support comes through its product call ‘Innovative development projects SME.’ This initiative aims to foster innovation, growth, and sustainability among small and medium-sized enterprises, and we are proud to have been selected as a beneficiary.

  1. Building Our Own Production Facility:

The grant provides Circular Matters with the financial backing required to establish our own state-of-the-art production facility. This facility will be equipped with the latest technology and staffed by skilled professionals who are passionate about creating fossil-carbon free panels from biomass. This step forward enables us to ensure a stable, reliable, and sustainable source of production, thus reducing the impact of external disruptions. With this facility, we will be able to efficiently produce panels of size 120×60 cm. The expected date of opening of the pilot facility is end of 2023.

Benefits for Our Customers

  1. Improved Product Availability:

With our very own production facility, we will have better control over our manufacturing processes. This means increased production capacity and the ability to consistently meet the demands of our customers. You can look forward to more dependable and timely deliveries.

  1. Enhanced Quality Assurance:

Our commitment to quality remains unwavering. Building our pilot production facility allows us to implement stringent quality control measures at every stage of production. This ensures that the products you receive maintain the high standards you’ve come to expect from Circular Matters.

  1. Strengthened Sustainability Initiatives:

As part of our commitment to sustainability, we will be able to implement eco-friendly practices within our production facility, reducing our carbon footprint and environmental impact. This aligns with our mission to create innovative and responsible products. All our electricity will come from solar panels on our roof, and at night our electricity comes from a green energy provider. No more fossil-fuels in our production process from now on.

  1. Continuous Innovation:

Having our production facility empowers us to continually innovate, develop new products, and respond to your specific needs. We will remain dedicated to finding innovative solutions that contribute to your success and make a positive impact on your business.

Conclusion

The grant from the City of Antwerp to establish our own production facility marks an exciting new chapter in the journey of Circular Matters. We are incredibly grateful for the support, which enables us to strengthen our commitment to quality, reliability, and sustainability.

We want to express our heartfelt appreciation to our customers for your patience and understanding during the recent challenges. We are excited to move forward with renewed determination, and we look forward to serving you with even greater enthusiasm and confidence.
