We rescue plant-derived raw materials from going to low value applications, and turn them into high-quality panels and moulded products. No synthetic chemicals in, means no synthetic chemicals out; so no chance on health problems and pollution typical to VOCs or (micro)plastics.

Our materials can be produced with less environmental impact than traditional alternatives (like traditional plastics or PLA), while maintaining the potential to biodegrade at the end of its useful life.

LOCAL SOURCING AND PRODUCTION

Our materials are produced in a factory, but not in a mega-factory. Mega-factories have the benefit of increased efficiency and increased automation. Our factory has the benefit that it can work with a range of local, natural inputs.

Will our factory ever be as efficient as a mega-factory connected to a pipe of crude oil? No. Do we mind? No. Because we believe that locality is required to valorize the potential of sidestreams. Instead of one mega-factory that produces materials for the whole world, we start with one factory for the Benelux. And once we’re ready, we copy that factory to another region, to make a local impact there too.
